DBR employees reported the suspicion of the officer and the two soldiers of the territorial center of the District District Dubensky district for the acquisition and social support from the mandatory mobilization of the conscript, whom the two officials were beaten.
The DBR press service announced this today, June 3.
DBR said that on February 21, 2025, during mobilization measures in the village of Ivann, Dubensky district, Rivn region, TCC employees noticed a person on a bicycle. They used tear gas and forcibly dragging on to the office.
During the incident, the victim had a signal pistol from which he shot into the air to seek help. For this, two military personnel decided to “punish” him and inflicted numerous blows in different parts of the trunk and head when he was already lying on the ground. As a result, a person suffered from small bodily harm, said in DBR.
It is noted that under physical pressure, the man reported the questionnaire about his data and was forcibly delivered to the Tax Code.
At the same time, in 2019, he was recognized as unsuitable for military service in peacetime. The military medical commission did not take into account these data, so now this person is mobilized in one of the military units of the Rivn region, ”said in DBR.
According to the results of the preliminary investigation of the officer and two military personnel, they were informed of suspicion:
- Part 1 of art. 28, part 2 of art. 146 of the Criminal Code – the illegal imprisonment of a person, which was accompanied by the cause of physical suffering committed by a group of persons without a preliminary conspiracy;
- Two of them are also suspected in part 1 of art. 28, part 1 of art. 127 of the Criminal Code – torture committed by a group of persons without a preliminary conspiracy, in order to make the victim to actions contrary to his will, or the punishment for the actions undertaken by him.
The sanction of articles provides up to six years in prison.
The Ukrainian newspaper Pravda, referring to informed sources, reports that two suspects were sent to night arrest, and the third is currently under treatment in a medical institution, so a request for a preventive measure has not yet been submitted.
