President approved the delegation for negotiations

At this time, the new members of the Ukrainian delegation were Yuri Kovbas and Evgeny Ostryansky.

President Vladimir Zelensky approved on June 1 the negotiation team for a visit to Turkey. This is proven by Decree No. 359/2025 on the State head website.

The delegation was led by the Minister of Defense Rustem Umarov.

Also included in the delegation:

• Alexander Bevz – advisor to the head of the President’s office;

• Alexander Dyakov – Deputy Chief of Staff of the Navy command of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces;

• Sergey Kislitsa – First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs;

• Yuri Kobbas – a representative of the Authorized Verkhovna Rada for human rights in the security and defense sector system (as agreed);

• Georgy Kuzmichev -a government policy protocol officer for providing official activities of the commander to the leader of the armed forces of the Commander’s armed forces -in -chief of the Ukraine’s armed forces;

• Oleg Lugovsky – First Deputy Head of Foreign Intelligence;

• Evgeny Ostryansky – Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces;

• Alexander Office – Deputy Head of Ukraine Security Service;

• Vadim Skibitsky – Deputy Head of State Unitary Enterprise of the Ministry of Defense;

• Andrei Fomin – head of the Department of International Law – Deputy Head of the International and Operational Law of the Central Legal Administration of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;

• Alexey Shevchenko – deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces;

• Alexander Sherikhov – Senior Officer of the Main Operational Department of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces;

• Evgeny Shinkarev – Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Earlier, Zelensky confirmed that on June 2, negotiations of Ukrainian and Russian delegations were held in Istanbul. Kyiv insisted on a complete stop, the release of prisoners and the return of the abducted children.

As you know, on May 16, the first negotiation of negotiations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation in Istanbul took place. The only result is a agreement on the exchange of prisoners in the “1000 per 1000” format.

Remember that the United States has received proposals for stopping from Ukraine. This is the result of recent negotiations in Paris and London. The document contains 22 requirements. At the same time, the Ukrainian side has not yet received the Russian memorandum with proposals for stopping fire.
