The project of the military memorial of heroes was shown in LVIV – it was created within a year with architects and relatives of the fallen defenders.
This complex will consist of a ceremonial zone, burial space, memory walls with the names and portraits of the dead and those who could not bury, columbarium. They will also create a small pond and build a chapel. The City Council of Lviv reported on May 30 on a telegram.
The mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadov, said to Facebook, the bell tower – an integral element of the military cemetery – will also appear on the memorial. And the central monument will be an angel carved in stone.
This manifests itself only when light falls on it. We see an angel, but we cannot touch him. As in memory, ”wrote Sadovi, recalled that there are slices, UPA soldiers and modern Ukrainian heroes on this memorial.
At the entrance to the memorial, the words of the poet Maxim Krivtsov died in the poet’s war, they try: “When they ask me what war is, I will answer without hesitation – names.”
We will recall that in October last year, unknown vandals damaged in LVIV, the graves of Ukrainian defenders on the field of honorary buried No. 76 liccave cemeteries.
