The Prime Minister of Israel is said to be told by hostage families on May 29 that he is willing to implement a ceasefire plan.
Israel is ready to fulfill a feast and exchange of hostages with the Hamas militant, suggested by special US president Steve Witkoff. It is a reference to its resources reported by the Axios correspondent Barak Ravid in X.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told hostage families on May 29 that he was willing to implement a plan for stopping and exchanging which was set on Trump’s special beam in the Middle East of Steve Witkoff.
In Hamas, they are not satisfied with Witcoff’s proposal and believe that it is too focused on Israel. In Witkoff’s proposal, there is a clear guarantee from the United States, which should ensure that a temporary truce will be one step toward a long stop of military operation.
The proposal does not guarantee that if negotiations between the parties take more than 60 days, then the initial term of ceasefire will also expand and Israel will not be able to violate unilaterally.
Hamas’s leadership has not yet given a negative answer to the proposal, though it expresses unpleasantness to them.
“The older man of Israel has informed me that, according to the forecasting of Israeli’s intelligence services, Hamas will reject the proposal,” Barack Ravid said.
As we have written, Benjamin Netanyahu approved the immediate continuation of the provision of human assistance to the Gaza population.
