In the Sumy region, on date, May 29, the operational situation remains difficult, but controlled. Active battles continue in some areas the borders, in particular, near the settlements of the Khotinsk and Yunak communities.
The enemy works in small groups, tries to get into the border villages and fix himself. Oleg Grigorov, head of Sumy Ova, told about this on his Facebook page.
The situation on the clash line is constantly changing -somewhere behind us the initiative, where the enemy demonstrates the activity, but our defense forces are preserved. The Armed Forces of Ukraine, border guards, the National Guard and all components of defense forces heroically reflect the invaders, ”he emphasized.
Grigorov also called on the inhabitants of the border areas not to postpone the evacuation.
This is a difficult solution, but life is the highest meaning. We will help everyone who needs it. No one will be left alone with his problem, ”he assured.
The official noted that on the last day more than 50 people were evacuated from border communities in the Sumi region.
I sincerely thank the volunteers, ses, the police and everyone who helps people leave dangerous territories, ”he added.
