Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal at a conference EDUCATION OF NEW UKRAINE On May 27, he called the main three goals and priorities in the field of education. He reported it to Telegram.
“The first goal is to prepare the child for the challenges of the dynamic -new -21st century. This means not only to provide some knowledge. It is about the ability to navigate a storm space, study and prevent it throughout life, to think critically, ask complex questions and find answers to them,” he said.
According to Shmygal, the second goal is to be competitive in the labor market; The third – in the midst of all changes, there must be a child, his safety, interest and need.
“First of all, we care about safety and access to training. For two years, the government has allocated about 14 billion UAHs for the repair and construction of homes in schools. 2.8 billion UAH, the state has taught the purchase of school buses. It is important to combine the education process, increase the number of students, improve quality and safety training.
Shmygal also said that in two years the government has provided UAH 3.4 billion subventions and nearly 500 million UAH for equipment for a high school in “new Ukrainian School”. Among other things, according to him, the state sent more than 1 billion UAH to professionally.
“Plans also include the introduction of a mechanism for funding dual education – state and community -based community grants,” the head of government said.
The Prime Minister added that Ukraine’s higher education was integrated into European space.
“We give students a wide selection of educational trajectors, guaranteeing the autonomy of educational institutions.
Remember that the Ministers’ cabinet approved the vocational education bill, which provides an increase in financial autonomy of professional TESH and a reduction in the number of types of establishments from 18 to two.
Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine began updating the state’s standard of education.
