The last stage of a major exchange of prisoners at 1000 per 1000 format took place today, May 25.
303 Ukrainian soldiers were returned from Russian captivity today. This was reported in the Telegram channel of coordination personnel for prisoner of war management (KSPPV).
All the military, released today, are men, ordinary and sergeants, with:
- Naval;
- Air Force;
- Landing troops;
- TRO forces;
- National Guard;
- SPSU;
- State Special Transport Service.
The liberated defenders defended Ukraine in the directions of Donetsk and Lugansk in the region of Zaporotsk and Harkiv, in the regions of Kherson, Sumi and inkwit, the KSPPV says. – 70 Mariupol Defenders are returning home.
It is noted that the three-day exchange “from 1000 to 1000” has become the sixth exchange of this year and the 65th since the beginning of a full-scale Russian invasion.
In total, 5757 citizens of Ukraine were released from the coordination headquarters since March 2022. Another 536 Ukrainians managed to return from exchanges, ”said KSPPV.
