From Russian captivity today, May 23, 390 Ukrainians were released on the first day of exchange in format from 1000 to 1000.
This was reported in the press service of the coordination headquarters -prisoner of war management (KSPPV).
Among the issued 270 military and 120 civilians (387 men and three women).
270 Defenders are returning home – they are military personnel of the Armed Forces, in particular the Military Fleet, DSHV, TRI, as well as the National Guard of Ukraine and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the KSPPV says. – The defenders, the released defenders defended our land in Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaprookhi, Harkiv, Kherson, and also participated in battles in the regions of Chernihiv, Sumi and nod.
It is noted that the release from captivity will undergo a medical examination, receive assistance in physical and psychological rehabilitation, all the correct payments for all the time are captured and reintegrated into society.
The current exchange is part of a large exchange of 1000 per 1000. The coordination headquarters does not stop the work, and in the near future we are preparing for the meeting of the second group of released Ukrainian prisoners added to KSPPV.
