From the beginning of the war, nearly 45 thousand men have been illegally crossed on the border. More than 7 thousand criminal cases have been established in the facts of illegal border crossing, however, there are more than 400 real sentences. Such statistics on the illegal crossing of the Ukrainian border of men, revealed at Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada (VSK) Verkhovna Rada Meeting, have been published on his Facebook page of People’s Deputy IX Convocation, Julia Yatsik’s lawyer Julia Yatsin.

It has been noted that from the beginning of 2022, nearly 30 thousand people have been detained while trying to illegally cross the border. Illegally crossed the border of 44 thousand 900 people.

As mentioned by participants at the VSK meeting, men tried to cross the state border using: fake documents removal from military records; VLK questions in unsuitable for military service, the status of the large fathers, or the decisions of the courts of having children dependent; documents on the status of a student at a higher educational institution, treatment or rehabilitation overseas; Passports of foreign states.

Cases of crossing the quarrel line, followed by travel abroad through temporary occupied territory and the Russian Federation, as well as eliminating through the Shlyakh system (as a driver carrying medical and humanitarian goods or driver of international transportation of goods and passengers).

There have been attempts to travel abroad based on letters from state border law enforcement agencies with petitions for military assistance responsible for military people at state border intersection.

At the VSK meeting, problems with controlling illegal border crossing are indicated:

• Lack of legal grounds for checking documents by border guards;

• There is no clear list of documents that guards should request on the border from a person when crossing the border (now in each case the decision is made in person, based on general standards and logic);

• In the electronic system of the border guards, copies (scanning) documents that are the basis for a person crossing the state border are not preserved, therefore it is impossible to prove the legalization of such intersection;

• Border guards do not control the return of a person who has been lost within the prescribed period, leading to isolated cases of non -return of athletes, civil servants and other people, as well as the uncertain notice of such facts of law enforcement;

• GUR, Vitsa, Gorosganov’s letters have an uncontrolled and corruption nature (VSK requested information on this topic for validation).

Keep in mind that the SBU, along with the GBR and the National Police, has revealed five schemes for avoiding mobilization in different regions of Ukraine. Organizers have brought men overseas out of checkpoints or selling fictional nurses.
