Finland supports the Zelensky president’s participation in the upcoming NATO Summit in The Hague, scheduled for June 24-25.
Finland President Alexander Stubb announced two new phone talks: On Saturday with White House leader Donald Trump, and on Sunday – with Vladimir Zelensky. Yle reported this Sunday, May 18.
“Zelensky is patient, while Trump starts to lose patience … about Putin,” Stubb said.
The Finnish leader last talked to both presidents a week ago. According to him, events in the last two weeks have indicated positive changes for Ukraine.
Stubb also emphasized that Finland supported the Zelensky President’s participation in the NATO Summit at The Hague planned on June 24-25. This statement was made against the rear of assumptions that Kyiv could not send an invitation for the peace of the tramp, which critically defined the alliance and support of Ukraine.
Remember that in the Netherlands, who will receive the NATO Summit next month, it is said that they want to see as a guest of President Vladimir Zelensky, but the United States opposes it. In Washington, they declined.
As you know, the summit will be held on June 24 and 25 at the World Forum in The Hague. The cost is almost double due to safety.
Earlier it was reported that the NATO decided to temporarily suspend a discussion on changes in the strategic approach to Russia, while the United States continued to negotiate the peaceful regulation of the war in Ukraine.
