The return has become possible through Qatar as part of the initiative of bringing children to the UA.

In Ukraine’s controlled territory, the father managed to return the 15-year-old boy, who was at work since 2022. The return took place as part of the approved to return children to the UA plan. This was informed by the commissioner for Human Rights Dmitry Lubinets on Sunday, May 18.

The young man and his mother lived in that Ukraine.

“After his mother died from 2022, he remained living with aunts, grandparents. However, the boy dreamed of returning to his father to Ukraine controlled by Ukraine. To freely fulfill the dream of reuniting and returning the child to the child,” said the Ombudsman.

Therefore, the boy’s father turned to the Ombudsman office for help. The lubinets have separately expressed gratitude to unaccompanied partners – the state of Qatar for their help with family reunion.

Previously, it was possible to restore another child from the temporary occupied territory of the Luhansk region.

Remember, on March 27, Ukraine returned 1247 children forcibly deported by Russia. The lubinets then made sure that this figure would increase in the near future.
