But the Ministry of Agriculture of Bulgaria insists on a cautious approach to receiving agricultural products from Ukraine after the adoption of the Decree on the temporary liberalization of trade.
The first shipment of grain arrived at the Bulgarian port of Varna from the Ukrainian Danube port of Reni, transported by sea on a barge. This was reported by Maritime.bg.
“The barge, accompanied by the pusher tug Felix (flag – Portugal), loaded with sunflower seeds is intended for the Bulgarian oil refinery. It will be processed at a private port terminal in Varna,” the report said.
The Ministry of Agriculture of Bulgaria insists on a careful approach to receiving agricultural products from Ukraine after the adoption of the Decree on the temporary liberalization of trade, because it can lead to negative consequences for national production.
The ministry emphasizes that a huge amount of sunflowers are imported into the country, mainly from Ukraine, which do not move to EU countries, but are sold on the Bulgarian market at prices lower than the cost of Bulgarian sunflowers and oil production.
Recall that the Naval Forces of Ukraine joined the organization of the transportation of agricultural products through the mouth of the Bystry in the Danube-Black Sea canal: Navy ships were accompanied by foreign ships arriving for Ukrainian cargo.
