The chief of the Christian Democratic Union (HDS) and German’s future Chancellor Friedrich Mertz will not accept the world imposed in Ukraine based on Russian military power. He said this to a party congress in Berlin, Bild reported on Monday, April 28.
“Through the dictatorship of the world or subordination in the military – especially against the will of Ukraine – it is not compatible,” he said.
Mertz emphasized that Germany and Europe supported Ukraine in its defense and expressed hope for the ongoing cooperation with the United States.
