The head of the government spoke about a meeting with the Minister of Finance of the United States Scott Bessent as part of the visit of the delegation of the Ukrainian delegation to the Spring Meetings of the World Bank and the IMF. During a meeting with the Bessent, a separate topic of the conversation was a resource agreement between Ukraine and the USA.
Earlier, the Trump administration insisted that Ukraine will complete the agreement on the distribution of profits from future Ukrainian investment projects, including minerals and infrastructure. Washington considered this as “compensation” for weapons and other assistance provided by Ukraine since the beginning of a full invasion of the Russian Federation.
