The man, who has not yet been identified, was about 40 years old, and he was lying on beach at 2:50 local time (6:50 GMT) when the vehicle, a Ford F250 pickup, ran over him.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The driver of the Parks Department truck remained at the scene, there is no suspicion of a crime,” the report said. New York Post.
