The Krivorozhsky District Court condemned 12 years in prison, which in a state of drug intoxication caused an accident to three dead. This was reported by the DBR press service on Tuesday, April 15.
“Based on DBR’s materials, the Krivorozhsky District Court of the DNipropetrovsk region has condemned 12 years in the prison of the law enforcement officer, whose three people’s fault was killed in the accident,” the press service said.
The accident occurred in February 2023. The investigation found that the law enforcement officer was captured behind the wheel in a state of drug intoxication after the use of marijuana. Moving to the road Nikolaev -Kryvyi Rih, in a snap he rode in the upcoming line, where he fought in a VAZ car.
As a result of the collision, the driver and two passengers of the vehicle passenger were killed.
The court found the law enforcement officer guilty of violating the policies of a person’s intoxicating person, which led to the deaths of three people under part 4 of art. 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Police were punished for 12 years in prison.
Earlier it was reported that the Stsky District of the LVIV region on the Kyiv-Chop Highway had an accident involving a bus and a truck. The bus driver died and 16 people were injured.
And near the village of Vorona Kolomyia District, a passenger vehicle and a train collided. One person was killed, three were injured.
