There is a political will to move toward the “crisis in Ukrainian”, Dmitry Peskov assured.
Currently, Russia and the United States are “tense work in the name of peace”, but there are still no forecasts for deadlines for the end of the war in Ukraine. The statement was made by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov in a briefing on Tuesday, April 15.
“A strong job is being carried out, you know that exchange of information from the first person is happening, what is called,” he told journalists.
In this context, the Kremlin representative cited a recent Vladimir Putin meeting with US expert president Steve Whitkoff.
“The other channels are working, the effort is carried out. But, of course, it is not so difficult it is not possible to wait for instant results, but, of course, I want to rely on for the best this work will still give positive results,” Peskov said.
He accused Europe as allegedly “continuing to work in the name of the war”, while the work of Moscow and Washington “happens in the name of peace”
At the request of the journalists to confirm Whitkoff’s statement that the Russian agreement with the “Crisis in Ukrainiano” could approach, Peskov replied: “So far there are no clear outlines of any agreement, but there is a political mood to move to this agreement.”
“We positively evaluate the constructive contacts that occurred,” the Kremlin representative emphasized.
Remember that Whitkoff himself called his last negotiations with Putin “convincing”, and also said that the peace agreement in Ukraine reminded “so -that -five territories”.
