Ukraine resumed a transitional connection with Georgia – this was the first time since the beginning of a full war.
The first flights in March were made in the “Information Regime of Silence” mode. On March 18 and 26, two flights were made between the ports of the Black Sea and Batumi on March 18 and 26. The third flight is also planned. This was stated by the director of commercial work and logistics “UKRZALIZNYTSIA” Timothy Murakhovsky, on April 10, Interfax-Ukraine reported.
The official called on the business more actively related to this area, and emphasized that the project is being implemented with the participation of the UKRFERRI shipping company and the subsidiary of UCRZALIZNYTSIA UZ Cargo Poland (Warsaw).
Sea communication between Ukraine and Georgia has been absent from the beginning of a full -fledged Russian invasion in February 2022.
We recall that experts suggested that Ukraine can restore flights from Boryspil or LVIV airports by the end of January 2025. This decision will be made by the authorities, and it will depend on the work of air defense systems
