The Russian occupiers are using a squeezed-out enterprise, the Reinforced Concrete Plant, to restore runways at the airport in Melitopol.
Local residents observed approximately 30 reinforced concrete carriers daily. And in recent days, “brushes” have been working on the base. RIA Melitopol reported this in the Telegram.
It will be recalled that on July 3, the Armed Forces of Ukraine completely destroyed the Russian army military base in Melitopol at the airport with the help of the American HIMARS artillery fire system. However, after the occupiers removed the remains of about 200 dead and about 300 injured from there, the engineer troops began to restore the runways.
Accordingly, the Russian military is preparing the runway to Mikhailovka. Previously, this settlement had a concrete runway for flying machines running in agricultural fields. Now, the Russians have expanded it into a helipad.
Also on the night of July 17, explosions erupted in the temporarily occupied Melitopol. After that, the active movement of Russian military equipment in the city began. Also, local residents noticed helicopters over the city.
