The guys say that they moved very quietly and in complete darkness. The guides had night vision devices and tablets. They took out all things, weapons and ammunition. The river was crossed by boats.
So that the enemy did not guess, they covered themselves with fire from grenade launchers and machine guns. When the invaders decided that the Ukrainian soldiers were no longer at the plant, they calmly entered the territory. There they were met by the bullets of the guards machine guns and machine guns.
One of these stories in an exclusive interview for the GRUNT media was told in detail by the General – fighter of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian forces held Severodonetsk until June 24, Lisichansk – until July 3. The general admits: from the very beginning he understood that sooner or later he would have to retreat, because the enemy had a multiple advantage in heavy weapons.
The general does not yet believe in the speedy return of the occupied Ukrainian cities. But he assures that both he and his fighters are ready to fight for Ukraine to the end.
In Severodonetsk, the Russians pressed with what they could. They had an advantage in artillery. As our command reported, the ratio was approximately 1 to 40. It was felt. They bombarded the city with artillery around the clock, destroying all buildings in which shelter could be found. Tanks worked together with artillery. They destroyed all the buildings where it was possible to hide personnel,” the General said.
According to him, they fired 250 shells per day on one bridge, and much more fell across the city in the industrial zone.
