The Norwegian government approved the support package covering 50 billion Norwegian crowns in addition to the previous 35 billion Norwegian crowns.
The Norwegian government at a meeting on April 4 discussed and approved the increase in Ukraine’s increase in 2025 by 50 billion Norwegian crowns ($ 4.6 billion) – up to 85 billion Kroon ($ 7.8 billion). This was announced by Financial Norwegian minister Jens Stoltenberg, NRK reports.
According to him, the Norway government approved a new support package in addition to the previous 35 billion Norwegian crowns. Thus, the total amount of funding for Ukraine’s support this year is 85 billion Norwegian crowns.
“We are triple military support three times,” the minister emphasized.
He added that funds will be spent abroad and, thus, will not contribute to the pressure on the Norway economy.
