The recovery plan includes three stages, the latter involving the renewal of the country.
Ukraine has prepared a plan for the restoration of the country after the end of the war with Russia. Prime Minister Denys Shmygal spoke about the plan in a BBC interview.
“We have already announced this plan. We will call it U-24. It is a plan for the renewal of Ukraine. There will be appropriate recovery funds, which will take place in three stages. The first is already underway, when we restore the damaged facilities temporarily, immediately and quickly, “he said.
The second stage is a quick recovery after the end of the battle. This includes the continuation of water and electricity supplies to the devastated territories.
The third phase is a complete renewal of cities, infrastructure and the country as a whole.
“This stage will be the most expensive, the longest, but we want to implement it very quickly. It must be consistent with the political processes of Ukraine’s entry into the European Union, as recently written in the Versailles Declaration,” Shmyhal said.
According to him, the prospect of Ukraine’s membership in the EU supports the internal hope of a speedy end of the war.
Earlier, Shmyhal said that Ukraine’s losses from the war with Russia, taking into account the losses in subsequent years, exceeded one trillion dollars.
