In the event of a Moscow denial, allies consider the possibility of strengthening the penalties, including additional restrictions on Russia’s exporting oil and the use of frozen Russian ownership.
G7 countries are ready to introduce further sanctions against Russia and strengthen Ukraine’s support if the Russian Federation has refused a cease. This is stated in a joint statement by foreign ministers G7.
The foreign work ministers of the G7 countries, who met in Charlevia (Canada), confirmed their unstable support for Ukraine.
They accepted efforts to achieve a ceasefire and called on Russia to agree to stop in equal terms. In the event of a Moscow denial, allies consider the possibility of strengthening the penalties, including additional restrictions on Russia’s exporting oil and the use of frozen Russian ownership.
The G7 also emphasized the importance of security guarantees for Ukraine, condemned the supply of Russian weapons from DPRK, Iran and China, and also expressed support for the restoration of Ukraine, especially at the upcoming Roman conference.
Earlier, foreign Canadian minister Melanie Zholi said Ukraine was among Canada’s major priorities during its G7 presidency.
Keep in mind that the United States opens against poor formulations about Russia in a joint statement of Big Seven (G7) so as not to interfere with peace negotiations.
