Trailer ‘very crazy Friday 2’ is released

It’s among us! After so much waiting and a lot of curiosity, the first trailer for “very crazy Friday 2” was released by Disney on Friday, 14. The sequence of the 2003 film, starring Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis, It brings a completely renewed family dynamic and reunion.

The sequence of “very crazy Friday”, scheduled to debut in August this year, brings back Anna (Lohan) and your mother, Tess (Lee Curtis), now dealing with new family situations. Anna, who has become the mother of a teenager, is about to marry a French chef and will also have to face the stepmother’s role of a 14 -year -old.

Directed by Nisha Ganatraknown for his work in ‘and Just like that’, the film explores the difficulties that arise when two different families try to integrate. Although the plot maintains the premise of body exchange, it also focuses on the complexities of living between different generations and the adjustments Anna and Tess need to make in their new lives. The continuation also features characters from the original movie, such as Jake (Chad Michael Murray), besides new faces, such as the French chef played by Manny Jacinto.

Names like MARK HARMON (Ryan), Christina Vidal Mitchell (Maddie), Haley Hudson (PEG), LUCILLE SOONG (Mother of Pei-Pei), Stephen Tobolowsky (Mr. Elton Bates) and Rosalind Chao (Pei-Pei) also return to reprise their characters.

While Anna tries to deal with the challenges of motherhood and marriage, Tess faces her own questions when trying to understand what she means to be a mother and grandmother at the same time, balancing the mood that fans know so much with the issues of identity, family relationships and adaptation to new realities.

The franchise’s first movie is still available in the Disney+catalog, while ‘very crazy Friday 2’ opens August 7 in theaters.
