The head of the Italian government has suggested to expand the well -known NATO article in Ukraine, even without a member of the latter.
Italy’s Prime Minister George Maloni proposed to extend NATO’s 5 article in Ukraine without a member of the country in a military alliance. This has been reported by the Financial Times.
The media note that EU leaders are conducting an urgent summit on Ukraine support. However, Meloni will not reveal other details about the proposal.
Earlier, George Melony said the international community should strive to “lay the foundations for a fair and long world in Ukraine.” Such a world is only possible when KYIV is given a sufficient security guarantee.
