To adjust the additional support of Ukraine, the head of the German Ministry of Defense and British colleague John Gili decided to continue the work of the contact group in Ukraine “as a co -chairman with joint leadership.”
German minister of Defense Boris Pistorius said the next contact group meeting Group in the defense of Ukraine in Ramstein’s format was previously planned at the end of March – early April. He reported this at a press conference in Berlin after negotiations with the Ukraine Rustem Umrom Minister of Defense Minister.
Pistorus pointed out that the final decision will be made next week at the “Pyat Group” meeting in Paris.
“And there it will be decided when the UDCG meeting will be held. It is probably planned for the end of March, later in the first week of April,” the minister said.
He also said that with the Great Britain’s defense minister John Gili, they will continue their co -chairs in the contact group to adjust the additional support of Ukraine.
Remember, on February 12, a 26th contact group meeting Group in defense of Ukraine in Ramstein format was held at NATO headquarters in Brussels. The United States at the meeting was presented by the new head of Pentagon Pete Hegset. The Ramstein format meeting was first led by the United States, but by Britain.
Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky during a press conference with the leader of the European investment bank Nadezhda Kalvino mentioned the importance of maintaining the entire contact group composition in Ukraine’s defense in Ramstein format.
