Russia allegedly did not “discuss” the return of the occupied Ukrainian territories, Dmitry Peskov said.

US President Donald Trump’s statement on Ukraine’s return occupied by the Russians will not affect the negotiation process. But this issue does not seem to be discussed. Kremlin Dmitry Peskov said this in a briefing on Thursday, February 27th.

“What we noticed was what President Trump said and was ready to listen to others.

According to Peskov, the Ukrainian territories allegedly becoming the “subject of the Russian Federation” and recorded in the Russian Constitution “are an integral part of Russia.” And this, according to him, is an “undeniable and unfair reality.”

The day before, US president Donald Trump said the American side in the Russian negotiations would try to return to Ukraine as many territories as possible.

Meanwhile, the ISW said Russia in negotiations will require part of Ukraine’s territories, which will not be available.
