Ukrainian forces stopped the Russian advance in Kamenka, about 6 kilometers northeast of Avdiivka.
Russian troops after the “operational pause” will launch a massive offensive on the Slavyansk-Seversk-Bakhmut line. This was stated on Thursday, July 14, in a new report from the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
at the same time, experts notice that there is no indication of how quickly this offensive will begin and where exactly it will be concentrated.
Analysts reported that the occupiers began to advance 8 km from Seversk to Verkhnekamenskoye. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has previously stated that enemy attacks in this area have been denied. At the same time, Russian mercenaries wrote that they had allegedly established “operational control” in Seversk.
In addition, the Ukrainian army responded with fire on the Russian military, which attacked communities southeast of Bakhmut. The battle was fought 20 km from the city.
“The Russian army continued offensive operations in the northeast of Avdiivka, possibly in an attempt to bypass the Ukrainian fortifications in the area,” the experts explained.
However, it was noted that Ukrainian forces had halted Russia’s advance in Kamenka, about 6 kilometers northeast of Avdiivka, after Russian troops allegedly achieved partial victory in the area early in the morning.
Recall that the Ukrainian military denied the attack of the Russian occupiers in the direction of the Uglegorsk thermal power plant in the Donetsk region.
