Danish intelligence believes that Russia can be prepared for a huge -scale war in Europe for almost five years.
Denmark’s prime minister Matt Fredericksen called on European leaders to prevent Russia from transferring its invasion outside of Ukraine. On Monday, February 17, he told reporters after an emergency meeting of European leaders in Paris, reported DR.
Fredericksen said further investment in defense from European countries was the main message of the meeting in Paris.
“Russia is a real security threat of the whole of Europe, and therefore our freedom, so the most important message of the night today is the need for re -care,” he said.
“We must re -define in Denmark, we must re -define in Europe and we should do this to prevent Russia from transferring Russia from Ukraine to other European countries,” the prime minister added.
Denmark’s authorities plan to increase the costs of defense of billions of dollars, to raise the level of defense level to 3% of GDP in 2025 and 2026.
