Russia’s military is inactive, which could lead to environmental consequences.
A fire broke out at the Satellit agricultural plant and at the main solid waste landfill in the Livoberezhny district in Mariupol, Donetsk region. However, Russian troops continue to dump construction debris in the landfill.
This was reported by adviser to the mayor of Mariupol Petr Andryushchenko in the Telegram.
“It really keeps the fire going and makes it impossible to extinguish,” Andryushchenko said.
In turn, Russian troops are not trying to eliminate or localize the landfill fire.
“The environmental consequences will be horrible, because of the damage of the smoke,” he stressed.
As you know, when landfills burn, carbon monoxide and nitric oxide are released, blocking the flow of oxygen to body tissues. These gas molecules can easily penetrate even through the skin, which is especially dangerous for children and older people.
In addition, a fire broke out at the satellite agricultural enterprise in another attempt to steal sunflower seeds.
“The lips were burning on the second day,” Andryushchenko stressed.
Earlier, the mayor’s adviser Andryushchenko said another wave of covert mobilization had begun in Mariupol.
It was also learned that in the past day as a result of the Russian attack in the Donetsk region, three people were killed and five were injured.
