The move of foreign companies to leave the Russian market will provide good opportunities for increasing production of goods, President Tokayev believes.
Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has instructed the government to create favorable conditions for the relocation of foreign companies to leave Russia. This was reported by the press service of the Kazakh leader on Thursday, July 14.
Tokayev noted that today there is a global struggle for investment capital, in particular, every second of almost 1.4 thousand foreign companies suspend operations or leave the Russian market.
The government must create favorable conditions for their transfer to Kazakhstan. This will give us great opportunities to increase the production of medium and upper processing goods, stressed the head of state.
Tokayev recalled that he was also instructed to prepare several investment projects in the manufacturing industry, but so far there are “very few to be proud of” and no new projects.
Recall that since the end of February, hundreds of foreign companies from the war in Ukraine have announced suspensions or restrictions on activities in Russia.
And at the end of June, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on parallel imports, which actually legalizes smuggling into the territory of the aggressor country.
