Ukraine will receive new financial assistance from the British government.
The United Kingdom will provide KYIV with a total of 55 million pounds. This money will go to projects in the field of energy, business and social support. On February 5, the press service of the government reported.
We believe in the construction of the future between our two countries, as well as in support of Ukraine now, since the barbaric and merciless attacks of Russia on the vital infrastructure, communities and business are ongoing, the country’s foreign minister David Lemmy said.
Currently, it is known that 25 million pounds will be supported to strengthen more inclusive, effective and effective social systems and services. Energy projects that ensure the restoration and stability of the Ukrainian energy system are provided by another 17 million pounds.
Another 10 million pounds sterling will enter the updates and reforms of the Ukrainian economy. And 3 million pounds of London will go to the purchase of Ukrainian grain and other products for Syria.
We will recall that on January 25, the Secretary of State Marco Rubio issued an order that freezes within 90 days of payment for most available grants for foreign assistance and suspenses the allocation of new grants. Subsequently, it became known that the White House cancel the decision to freeze federal assistance, but this applies only to the United States.
