The air message to Belgium airspace is suspended due to technical problems.

The government aircraft along with the Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fitzo on board could not reach Brussels due to the temporary closure of Belgium’s airspace. The STVR reported this on Thursday, January 30.

In Belgium, air flights are limited due to a technical malfunction in the country’s air traffic control service. In this regard, the planes in Brussels were redirected to nearby states.

“Due to the technical problems of air traffic control, it is still impossible to conduct air traffic,” said the Brussels Airport’s website.

The plane with a fitz is heading to Brussels for negotiations with gas supplies in Europe by Ukraine. It is not yet known whether planned negotiations will take place on Thursday, or postpone.

As you know, Kyiv and Bratislava’s bilateral relations are aggravated after Ukraine has stopped traveling Russia’s fuel into its EU territory, including Slovakia.

Fitz called Ukrainian president Vladimir Zelensky the “enemy”. Even earlier, the Prime Minister of Slovak criticized the President of Ukraine for supporting protests against Slovak government policy.
