The military counterintelligence of the Security Service neutralized a group of FSB agents, which “hunted” the fighters and military helicopters of the Armed Forces.
According to the results of a special operation near one of the military airfields of Ukraine, two agents of the Russian Federation were detained who photographed the rise of the internal F-16.
According to the case, the enemy partners were two residents of Kremenhuk at the age of 22 and 21. The persons involved were recruited by the employees of the FSB employees, whose identity has already established SBU.
The task of the agents was to collect the exact coordinates of the main and backup airfields and the aviation infrastructure of Ukraine, so that in the future the enemy could strike a rocket and drones.
In addition to geolocation, they had to make a text and a report on the photo, which was supposed to indicate and describe which equipment is located on each of the objects.
To follow this instructions, the agents were going to travel along route buses five regions of Ukraine. They planned to rent a house for each of the potential objects in order to spy and shoot at the “goal” for several days.
SBU employees identified both agents at the initial stage of hostile intelligence, documented their unsuccessful visits in several regions and detained when photographing F-16 fighters.
SBU also took measures to protect the location of defense forces.
When postponing traitors, mobile phones were removed with evidence of the enemy’s work.
SBU researchers informed agents of suspicion in the framework of the 2nd part of art. 28, part 2 of art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (the state betrayal committed by a conspiracy by a group of persons in martial law).
Attackers are in custody without collateral. They are threatened with life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
