Russian occupiers damaged the pipes of the Seversky Donets canal.

The invaders did this to allow the passage of equipment during the offensive and increase pressure on units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of Temporary Yar, Donetsk region.

In several places of the Seversky Donets canal, he blew up pipes in order to create passages for the use of equipment for further assault operations (possibly even motorcycles), to establish logistics support for offensive units, as well as for offensive operations, he noted.

According to the military man, the Russians have significantly increased pressure on the Ukrainian Defense Forces and have begun to more actively use armored combat vehicles along with landing forces.

Zaporozhets also confirmed the presence of the Russian special squad “Akhmat” and the formation of “Rusich” on the south-eastern outskirts in the direction of Vremenny Yar.

Let us recall that in early January it became known that the Russians sent more than 10 thousand military personnel to attack Chasov Yar. Every day, invaders storm the area of the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal, which runs through the city. The enemy is trying to find a “weak spot” to cross the artificial pond that stands in their way.
