In the Zhytomyr region today, January 13, a new system for alerting the population about a threat from the air begins operating as part of a pilot project.
The head of the Zhytomyr Regional Administration, Vitaly Bunechko, announced this in his Telegram channel.
The main difference from the usual mode of operation is the possibility of announcing an air raid warning separately for regions, when, according to the Air Force, a potential threat does not currently affect the entire territory of the region, he noted. “This will allow other areas to continue working and training.”
Let us remind you that on January 10, a pilot project on a new algorithm for alerting about air raids was introduced in the Cherkasy region.
