Electricity consumption has increased in Ukraine.
The press service of Ukrenergo reported this today, January 21.
It is noted that as of 9:00 today, the level of consumption was 3.3% higher than at the same time of the previous day – on Monday, January 20.
The reason is cloudy weather in most regions and a decrease in the efficiency of household solar power plants, the company said.
Yesterday, January 20, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening: it was 4.4% lower than the maximum of the previous working day – on Friday, January 17.
The reason for this difference is higher air temperatures in most areas, noted Ukrenergo.
The company notes that now the Ukrainian energy system continues to recover after massive Russian missile and drone attacks. Ukrainians are urged not to turn on several powerful electrical appliances simultaneously during peak consumption hours in the morning and evening:
- 09.00 – 11.00;
- 16.00 – 19.00.
