The new US President, Donald Trump, on Monday, January 20, signed his first executive orders in the Office of the President at the Capitol. They are concerned about the appointments and flag raising, CBS News reports.
It was noted that the first document signed by Trump concerns Cabinet-level appointments, the second – 47 appointments to lower positions.
Trump also signed two documents appointing acting heads of departments and various commissions.
Another signed order concerns the raising on January 20 and in the following days the inauguration of state flags, which were flown at half-staff after the death of the 39th US President Jimmy Carter.
After the ceremony of signing the first decrees, the inaugural dinner began.
We remind you that today Trump took the oath of office in a ceremony in Washington and officially became the 47th President of the United States of America.
