Russian social networks reported that an oil depot was on fire in the village of Liski, despite claims from local authorities that a UAV had been “shot down.”
A Russian oil depot located in the Voronezh region was again attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles on Monday night, January 20. The governor of the region, Alexander Gusev, announced this on his Telegram channel.
The Russian official rushed to confirm that Russian air defense and electronic warfare forces had “discovered, destroyed and intercepted” several drones in the region’s Liskinsky district.
“As a result of one of the drones falling on the territory of the oil depot, a new fire broke out.
Russian Telegram channels report that an oil depot is on fire in the village of Liski, which was previously successfully attacked by Ukrainian attack drones.
The social network also reports that the fire area is “burning heavily,” adding that the fire is “severe.”
