US President Donald Trump has promised to oppose wars in the world.
During his inauguration on January 20, the new leader noted that he strives to be a “peacemaker and unifier,” and under his presidency, the United States will return to its “rightful place as the largest, most powerful, respected nation on earth.” Trump’s speech was also broadcast by the Ukrainian media.
“We will measure our success not only by the battles we win, but also by the wars we end and, perhaps most importantly, the wars we never fight,” he said.
In his speech, Trump did not mention his intentions to seize Greenland or turn Canada into the “51st American state.” Trump also did not talk about Ukraine or a full-scale Russian invasion.
Let us recall that the new US President Donald Trump, in his inaugural speech after taking the oath of office, announced the beginning of the “Golden Age of America.” He also stressed that he will “put America first” every day of his administration. Trump is expected to sign about 100 executive orders in the near future.
