“I congratulate President Donald Trump and the American people on the inauguration. This is a day of change, as well as hope for solving many problems, including global challenges,” Zelensky wrote.
The head of the Ukrainian state said that Trump “is always decisive, and his declared policy of peace through strength provides an opportunity to strengthen American leadership and achieve a reliable and just peace – this is the most important thing .”
Now, Zelensky added, it is being decided what this century will look like, and everyone must act together so that “this century will be good and successful for democracies, and not for those who want us to fail everyone.”
He wishes Trump success and noted that he expects active and mutually beneficial cooperation.
