Military exercises Mavi Vatan-2025 took place in Turkey with the participation of 20 thousand personnel. This was reported by the press service of the Turkish Ministry of Defense on Monday, January 20.

The exercises were conducted simultaneously in three seas – the Black, Aegean and Mediterranean.

“In addition to the Navy, units of the ground and air forces and the coast guard command took part in the exercises – a total of 90 ships, 50 aircraft and 20 thousand personnel were involved,” the statement said.

It was previously reported that the United States and the Philippines had begun a joint annual exercise Kamandag (another name for Venom) to test the protection of the northern coast of the main island of Luzon in the Philippines, about 800 kilometers from Taiwan.

We remind you that the naval forces of Ukraine for the first time took part in the largest NATO exercise on the use of unmanned systems in maritime operations – REPMUS 24.
