Russian invaders lost more troops in 2024 than in the previous two years.
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky stated this in an interview with TSN Week.
Syrsky noted that, according to estimates, in 2024 the total losses of the enemy amounted to more than 434 thousand personnel, of which approximately 150 thousand were killed.
Such insane losses indicate that the enemy has staked everything on the war against Ukraine.
The enemy is trying to seize our territory, destroy our state, despite all statements about limited goals. “I understand that the goals are the loss of our statehood,” Syrsky emphasized.
He also noted that the work of Russian artillery has decreased significantly in recent months. According to him, this was influenced by the attacks of the Defense Forces on strategic and military targets in Russia.
