The army of the Russian Federation is trying to block Bolshaya Novoselka in the Donetsk region.
The occupiers, taking advantage of difficult weather conditions, carried out offensive actions to blockade this populated area. During assaults, the enemy actively uses armored vehicles. The operational-strategic group of troops “Khortitsa” reported this on January 19 in Telegram.
The Ukrainian military announced the destruction of two Russian tanks and five armored vehicles. However, the command noted that, despite numerous losses in personnel, the enemy continues assault operations in the vicinity of Velikaya Novoselka. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are fighting grueling defensive battles here.
In the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for January 19, it was reported that the Defense Forces repelled 19 enemy attacks in the Novopavlovsk direction. The occupiers most actively tried to move forward near Velikaya Novoselka.
