A company in the Dnepropetrovsk region helped Russia in the construction of nuclear laboratories.
The SBU exposed an enterprise that helped Russians build laboratories for the development of nuclear weapons. In particular, the owner of a Ukrainian manufacturing company of building materials helped the enemy.
Investigators found that after the start of a full-scale war, representatives of the plant transported a large batch of finished stainless steel profiles to the aggressor country. The enemy has already used these materials to furnish the office premises of the Russian Institute for Nuclear Research. In these laboratories, the Russians are developing designs for new types of missile weapons with a nuclear charge.
The dealers tried to hide international deliveries – the metal products were first sent to a controlled company in the Middle East, and from there they were re-exported to Russian customers. The financial statements of both companies were maintained by the chief accountant of the Ukrainian enterprise.
Law enforcement officers conducted searches in the houses of the defendants and found mobile phones, computer equipment and documentation red-handed in favor of Russia.
The owner of the manufacturing enterprise and three of his subordinates have already been informed of the suspicion. The perpetrators face up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
Let us recall that in Kyiv the SBU detained the director of the information systems support department of one of the largest banks in Ukraine, who regularly transferred his money to the needs of the Russian occupation groups.
