In the south of the Czech Republic, during a military display of historic military equipment, one of the armored personnel carriers overturned, killing the two people inside. The Czech police reported this on Saturday, January 18, on the X social network.
They said the accident occurred during a military show near the now defunct village of Svatomirov in the south of the country.
“A military vehicle overturned and several people were injured. Two people died on the spot,” the statement said.
Regional fire service spokesman Roman Krcmarz said eight people were injured as a result of the accident.
“We provided assistance to emergency doctors and took measures to prevent the leakage of petroleum products from the overturned vehicle,” Krcmarz added.
Earlier, six people were killed in an explosion at a restaurant in Most, Czech Republic. Eight other guests were injured.
