The enemy attacked 64 times in the Pokrovsky direction, 410 occupiers were neutralized.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced this on the evening of January 17.
In the Pokrovsky direction, since the beginning of these days, the enemy has attacked 64 times in the areas of Zeleny Pole, Vodyanoy Vtoroy, Elizavetovka, Luch, Lisovka, Shevchenko, Zverevoy, Udachny, Uspenovka, Serebryany, Dachny, Ulaki and Yantarny. Our defenders repelled 49 assaults, and another 15 engagements are still ongoing.
On January 17, according to preliminary data, 410 occupiers were neutralized in this direction, 173 of them were permanently neutralized. Three motorcycles, ten vehicles and two satellite communications equipment were also destroyed.
On Friday evening, the Khortitsa OSMU denied the information that the Russians allegedly entered Pokrovsk. Thus, MP Maryana Bezugla stated that the Russians have already entered the city, the military claims that fighting continues on the approaches to the agglomeration.
Ukrainian military correspondent Bogdan Miroshnikov writes that the southern flank of Pokrovsk continues to crumble.
It is obvious that experiments with fielding billions of attached units and scattering brigades again into different areas of the direction do not work.
Why is the left flank still more or less stable, despite the loss of Vozdvizhenka and the surrounding territory? Nothing fell there.
And on the right flank, problems of an operational-tactical nature are brewing.
Pokrovsk and Mirnograd are far from doomed. There is no need to make them doomed. And now everything is moving towards this.
We need to fight for this agglomeration, and not conduct experiments of a pseudo-operative nature, writes Miroshnikov.
Deep State reported that the Russians are trying to cordon off Bolshaya Novoselka.
The enemy’s plan to capture Velikaya Novoselka without getting involved in battles in the building is becoming increasingly visible. The enemy will try to improve their position to the north and south of New Komar, cut the road from Green Field and reach the ravine in the north.
Over the past three days, the enemy has captured Neskuchnoye and is carrying out additional cleansing of Vremivka. The latter has actually been lost, although even if there is still our observation post in the village, it will no longer play a role.
If by the middle of the day on January 15, there was still information that the Defense Forces were resisting in Neskuchny, then closer to night the invaders were already in the center of Vremovka.
How two entire villages turned out to be empty in three days is still unknown.
To the south of Pokrovsk, the enemy is conducting active assault operations on Udachny and Kotlin.
On the morning of January 17, the infidels began assaulting the Pokrovskoye Mine Administration and the iron planting perpendicular to the forest belts.
In recent days, the Russians have been climbing into Kotlino, trying to gain a foothold, but the Defense Forces are trying to prevent them from doing this. Since yesterday, information has been received about the presence of the enemy at mine No. 2 of the Pokrovskoye mine management. Active fighting continues behind the latter, and the situation is being clarified.
As they write in Deep State, the Russians are bringing up their manpower reserves, and those who signed the contract in December are going into battle. The amount of equipment on the site is quite minimal, so the main problems are created by small groups of the enemy.
