Actors will be his “eyes and ears” in Hollywood, which, according to the future president, “has lost many clients in foreign countries.”
Newly elected US President Donald Trump has appointed Sylvester Stallone, Mel Gibson and Jon Voight as his special envoys to Hollywood. Trump announced this on his social network Truth Social, Fox News reports.
“I am honored to announce Jon Voight, Mel Gibson and Sylvester Stallone as special ambassadors to the beautiful but very troubled area of Hollywood, California,” he wrote.
Trump said the goal of his emissaries is to bring back Hollywood, which has “lost a lot of clients in foreign countries” over the past four years, and make it “bigger, better and stronger than ever.”
Trump said the trio would be his “eyes and ears” and he would listen to their suggestions.
It was previously reported that billionaire Elon Musk is preparing an office next to Trump in the White House.
