The ‘Win or Lose’ series will follow the story of an elementary school softball team at a school in the United States
“Win or Lose”, the first original series to be launched by Pixar, received its expected premiere date and a new trailer this Thursday, the 16th. According to the studio, the production can be found on the Disney+ streaming platform from the February 19th.
In the preview, we follow some of the perspectives on the lives of the characters linked to an elementary school softball team at a US school as they prepare for an important game. Watch!
With eight episodes, “Win or Lose” will show how people’s lives can be different, even if they have a relationship. With one week left until the softball team’s decisive game, we’ll discover what it’s like to be in the shoes of eight different characters, including insecure children, their overprotective parents, and even a passionate referee.
Second Pete Docterchief creative officer at Pixar, “We consider Win or Lose to be a standout series, the first of its kind, that showcases what I believe makes our studio great: bold, imaginative storytelling, humor that makes us laugh out loud, and characters with which we can identify with.”
It is worth remembering that, in 2025, Pixar also has on its calendar the release of two more films: “Elio”, which is scheduled to premiere on June 12th, and “Zootopia 2”, a sequel scheduled to hit theaters in the month of November.
In “Elio”, we will follow the story of Elio, a boy passionate about space and obsessed with extraterrestrials who is teleported to the Comuniverso, an interplanetary organization that mistakes him for the leader of Earth.
“Zootopia 2”, the sequel to the 2016 global phenomenon, will see detectives Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde begin a new investigation after the arrival of a reptilian mystery that turned the metropolis of mammals upside down.
