Russia will supply gas to the fake Transnistria as “humanitarian aid”.

The aggressor country will resume supplies of “blue fuel” to Transnistria, positioning it as humanitarian aid. The infrastructure of the unrecognized republic is already ready for gas supplies from Russia. The head of the PMR, Vadim Krasnoselsky, stated this following negotiations in Moscow, Russian propaganda reported.

Gas will be provided as humanitarian aid in the volume that is necessary for the population of Transnistria, for the heat and power industry and for industrial enterprises, for Transnistria itself,” he said.

The representative of the fake republic added that Russian gas will be supplied only to consumers in Transnistria, and not to Moldova.

Let us remind you that on January 1, Gazprom stopped supplying Russian gas to Moldova and Transnistria. This happened, in particular, due to the cessation of gas transit from the Russian Federation through Ukraine.

After the cessation of supplies, unrecognized Transnistria was left without heating and hot water. The lack of electricity also led to blackouts. Industrial enterprises stopped, winter holidays were extended in schools.

The president of the unrecognized republic, Vasily Krasnoselsky, suggested that “citizens” warm themselves with firewood. Warming points have also opened in Transnistria.
